KUCHING, October 24 – Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and Maxis have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to drive digitalisation and talent development initiatives across Sarawak. The collaboration, formalized at the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak 2024, will focus on leveraging Maxis’ expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to enhance digital capabilities in the region.
Aligned with the Sarawak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030, this partnership aims to develop local tech talent by equipping the workforce with essential digital skills. The initiative supports Sarawak’s goal of fostering an inclusive and sustainable digital society by 2030.
