KUALA LUMPUR, January 27 — Starbucks Malaysia has unveiled its upgraded Starbucks Rewards program, featuring the all-inclusive STARS For Everyone (SFE) and Multi-Tier Redemption (MTR) systems. For the first time, Starbucks Rewards members can earn STARS with any payment method, from cash to credit cards. Customers earn 2 STARS per RM1 using the Starbucks Card or Mobile App and 1 STAR per RM1 with other payment methods.
This initiative ensures a personalized loyalty experience that aligns with diverse spending habits. The new Multi-Tier Redemption system offers greater flexibility for redeeming rewards. From as few as 50 STARS for extras like syrup or espresso shots to 500 STARS for limited-time offerings, members now enjoy more choices tailored to their preferences. Additionally, the redesigned Starbucks Mobile App simplifies navigation, allowing customers to track STARS, browse rewards, and make payments effortlessly.
Starbucks is also introducing the STAR Luxe membership in February 2025, offering exclusive perks such as priority service, invitations to special events, and discounts for bringing reusable tumblers.
