GEORGE TOWN, August 22 — Motorists travelling towards KOMTAR on the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway should expect periodic partial night lane closures until Oct 9 for Penang Mutiara Line LRT works.
The 49-day traffic arrangement runs from midnight to 6am. The motorcycle lane and leftmost lane between the TNB power station and Pangsapur Jelutong Indah will be affected, while other lanes remain open.
The closures are required for utility relocation under the Mutiara Line’s CMC1 package. Road users are advised to follow traffic signs, barriers and instructions from personnel at the work zone.
