KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 – 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) does not have any outstanding debt, according to the Finance Ministry. In a reply to Mohamed Hanipa Maidin (Amanah-Sepang) at the Dewan Rakyat today, it said 1MDB had also never failed to settle its debts including loan interests. To another question from Hanipa on 1MDB’s government secured debts, the ministry said the amount was RM5.8 billion.
