JOHOR BAHRU, October 14 — IHH Healthcare Malaysia is expanding Gleneagles Hospital Johor through the acquisition of Afiniti Wellness in Medini, Iskandar Puteri, to develop a dedicated Ambulatory Care Centre.
The new facility will provide specialist consultations, diagnostics, day surgery and outpatient treatments, allowing the existing hospital to focus on more complex medical care.
The expansion will create an integrated 18-acre healthcare campus with approximately 350 inpatient beds, while an additional 150-bed block remains under evaluation.
IHH said the investment aims to meet rising healthcare demand as the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone develops, strengthening Johor’s position as a regional healthcare destination.
