KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s unshaken position, despite being challenged left and right, has caused worries among the opposition leaders in facing the 14th general election (GE14). Datuk Abdul Rahman Mohamad (BN-Lipis) said the opposition’s move in dragging veteran politicians to conspire with them in their agenda to topple the prime minister through the Mahathir declaration.

He said the Mahathir declaration also proved that they were unsure of their own ability to take over the government democratically. He said anyone else would have collapsed if being attacked and challenged left and right, but not the prime minister.

And by using the declaration, he said it’s only proves how unsure the opposition parties are of their own ability to face the next general election. He said this when debating the motion of thanks for the royal address at the Dewan Rakyat sitting here yesterday. Abdul Rahman also described Najib as the coolest prime minister as he was not easily disturbed when provoked by the opposition and former leaders who had repeatedly called for his resignation.
