GEORGE TOWN, Jun 11 – Persatuan Anak Muda Pulau Pinang (PAMPP) today lodged a police report against alleged fake signatures contained in the Dr Mahathir-Lim Kit Siang Declaration. Its chairman Jahangir Abdul Syukur said the declaration had apparently misused people’s names to mislead everyone in the country.
He said today he lodged the police report is want the police to comb the signatures list thoroughly to ascertain its authenticity and separate the genuine ones from the fake because it is clear that the declaration is confusing the people. He told this to reporters after the group made the report at the northeast district police headquarters in Jalan Patani here today.
