KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — Malaysian Official Designers Association took centre stage at East Meets West: The Hair Artistry Unleashed, a creative showcase presented through a collaboration.
Between Schwarzkopf Professional and Shiseido Professional, celebrating the fusion of global hair artistry and Malaysian fashion design.
The event featured six local designers — Jimmy Wong (Double U by Jimmy Wong), Ellie Lim (EL by Ellie Lim), Oscar Lee (Outdwell), You Sheng (Yuleza), Ashley Wong (Ashley @ Kapas) and Ariff Shukor (Ariff Atelier).
Working alongside local and international hairstylists to create immersive runway presentations inspired by the theme of East meeting West.
Through sculptural silhouettes, vibrant colours and artistic hair creations, the showcase highlighted the seamless integration of fashion, performance and creativity.
