BALI, Nov 27 – AirAsia wishes to inform that Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali is temporarily closed today, 27 November 2017 starting at 07:15 HRS LT (GMT +8) following the eruption of Mount Agung in Bali.
As a result of the airport’s temporary closure, all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights in and out of Bali have been cancelled. In addition, flights from and to Lombok remain cancelled today. Further information will be released once available.
Affected guests will be notified of their flight status via email and SMS. AirAsia strongly encourages all guests to update their contact details at airasia.com to ensure that they are notified of any updates to their flights.
Guests whose flights were cancelled are entitled to choose one of the following service recovery options being offered:
- Move flight: Change to a new travel timeon the same route within 30 calendar days from original flight time without additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR
- Credit Account: Retain the value of your fare in a credit account for your future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issuance.
Guests are advised to check www.airasia.com and AirAsia’s social media pages for further announcements. We also encourage guests to check their flight status through “Manage My Booking” feature on AirAsia’s website.
